‘Shining’ Lee Yoo Ri, Burden of Changing Evil Woman? “I Like Wearing Pretty Clothes”

An actress Lee Yoo Ri expresses her feelings about taking a evil woman role.

Lee Yoo Ri acts Hwang Geum Ran who was poor as a daughter of the restaurant owner in Shin Rim Dong but turns her lives to a daughter of the rich in Pyung Chang Dong on MBC weekend drama ‘Shining’ (Writer: Bae Yoo Mi, Director: No Do Cheol)

Recently Geum Ran enter her biological parents’ house in Pyung Chang Dong and has conflicts with Jung Won (Kim Hyun Joo) whose life was upside down. Showing a victim mentality, Geum Ran acts like angel to her family but like evil to Jung Won.

Lee Yoo Ri expresses sympathy on Geum Ran she is taking, “Geum Ran is rather a woman who want to live well away from poor and hard life than evil woman. It’s same with ordinary people who want to be happy.”

Lee Yoo Ri said it is difficult to act two-faced Geum Ran but there are also joys. Lee Yoo Ri said, “I should wear in same hair style and quite clothes. But I’m happy to change to wavy hair style and wear showy and sophisticated dresses” and express her small pleasure.

Lastly Lee Yoo Ri thinks about family, money, and happiness while acting in ‘Shining’. She said, “I don’t think Geum Ran changed to evil woman because of money” and added, “I want to act well the changing Geum Ran. It will be really meaningful for viewers to watch Hwang Geum Ran and think a lot of things and then get the right set of values” and express special affections to Geum Ran.

‘Shining’ deals with the success stories of a woman who turned her life and regained her life with her own efforts.
