10 Korean designers hold 'Ten Soul' pop-up store in Berlin, Germany

10 domestic designers who have proven their global competitiveness will open a pop-up store in Berlin, Germany to meet the 2018 Gallery Weekend Berlin period.

Seoul's 10Soul will open its pop-up store for about a month at the editorial shop of Andreas Murkudis in Berlin on April 26th.

Ten Soul, launched in 2010, is a project to support the development of global fashion brands operated by the Seoul Design Foundation. It is a project to help global designers of next-generation fashion designers and to open up overseas market opportunities. Among the designers who participated in Seoul Fashion Week, they consist of 10 designers who have proved their global competence.

According to the Seoul Design Foundation on July 24, the opening ceremony of the Ten Soul pop-up in the first half of 2018 was planned to be held in conjunction with the "2018 Gallery Weekend Berlin" to try to combine fashion and art. The opening ceremony will be held at 6 pm on the evening of the opening day of Gallery Week and Berlin, which will be attended by about 150 people including artisans from Berlin and Europe, fashion representatives and buyers.

The 2018 Ten Soul will feature new designs for BLINDNESS, which won the 2017 Seoul Fashion Week Best Designer Award, as well as PUSH Button, Park Seung-Geun, D-ANTIDOTE Park Hwang-sung, MUNN Han Hyun-min, Joe Eun-Hye, A.Bell Choi Byung-doo, USER Lee Yoo-yeol, YCH Yun Chun Ho, Han Chul Lee Lee Han-Cheol, J KOO Choi Jin-woo and Koo Yeo-ju.

The Seoul Design Foundation said, "In the second half of this year, the opening ceremony will be held at Opening Ceremony NY and will continue to provide Korean designers with opportunities to enter the overseas market." 

Meanwhile, the Ten Soul pop-up store project was successfully implemented in 2005 with Paris 'Les Claire', Milan 'Excelsior' and last year's collaboration with 'I.T' in Hong Kong and 'Selfridge' department store in London. Especially in London's Selfridge Store, the wrapper season, famous fashion blogger Resin Bubble and fashion journalist Sarah Moore attended.
