11 'Superstar K6' finalists to face off

The 11 top contenders from the singing audition program "Superstar K6" were revealed on Friday. The show's broadcaster Mnet also announced that the finalists will compete against one another in live performances starting from the next episode to air this Friday.

Those who advanced to the top 11 on last week's seventh episode were Kwak Jin-eon, Song Yu-bin, Kim Feel, Jang Woo-ram, Lim Do-hyuk, Lee Hae-na, Lee Jun-hee, Brian Park, MICA, Burstered and Foxstar.

The live performances will be held every Friday at CJ E&M Studio in Ilsan, Gyeonggi, until Oct. 24. The program will then switch venues, to Kyung Hee University in Dongdaemun District, eastern Seoul.

The final match is slated for Nov. 21.

The ultimate winner will be awarded 300 million won ($280,563) in cash, 200 million won worth of record production fees, a chance to perform in the 2014 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) and a record deal.

Winners from the previous episodes wereSeo In-guk, Huh Gak, Ulala Session,Roy Kimand Park Jae-jung, all male singers.

"Superstar K6" airs on cable channel Mnet every Friday at 11 p.m.
