49 Days Episode #10 Lee Yo Won’s First Tear Drop

Since Shin Ji Hyun (Nam Gyu Ri)’s spirit is inside Song Yi Kyung (Lee Yo Won)’s body, I pondered if her real identity would be revealed to Han Gang (Jo Hyun Jae) in this episode (though only a slight possibility). In a peculiar way, it came across to me that Gang Min Ho (Bae Soo Bin) had a love-hate relationship with Shin Family Company in episode 49. Seeing Lee Yo Won’s tears flow during this episode made my heart sting today.

I think that the identity of the friend who shed the first tear for Shin Ji Hyun (Nam Gyu Ri) will be revealed in the 11th episode of 49 days next week.

He follows Song Yi Kyung (Lee Yo Won) to coffee shop where she works for but he is stuck dumb because Song Yi Kyung (Lee Yo Won) couldn’t recognize him…



Song Yi Kyung (Lee Yo Won) was bewildered with Han Gang (Jo Hyun Jae) who recognizes her. As Han Gang is on Shin Ji Hyun (Nam Gyu Ri)’s mind, she ponders and decides to leave to after life with thinking she doesn’t have friends who truly love her. Many viewers and netizens wonder who will be the first person of the first tear of three. They expected the first person will be the other one among main actors. There were abundant guesses about it. I also mainly expect the first person will be others. However, writer So Yi Kyung gives the answer for our questions. Writer So Yi Kyung lets us know that the person who can give the pure 100% tears include other than herself. I feel like freshly shocked when possessed Song Yi Kyung (Lee Yo Won) sheds tears and the necklace filled with the tear at the end of episode #10. Writer So Yi kyung’sunexpected twist was really admirable and I blamed myself that I was thinking so simply.

Seeing Scheduler’s saying on Episode #10, it’s like writer So Yi Kyung talks what she wants to talk through Scheduler. We can notice why Shin Ji Hyun couldn’t collect 100% pure tears. While Shin Ji Hyun live as Song Yi Kyung’s body, she didn’t even think about the 100% pure tears and just thinks she could make her friends cry with bring the past memories back for her best friends. But she didn’t even think her friends’ mind but she only and strongly believe all her friends truly love her. However, her reality was miserable while looking for tears. Moreover, she blames her friends and others with thinking why they don’t cry for her. It came to my mind that the necklace couldn’t be filled with 100% pure and genuine tears because she had an impure heart.

After Shin Ji Hyun knew the plot of Gang Min Ho and Shin In Jung, she was pessimistic about the reality and was about to give up the life and collecting tears. However, the 100% pure tears require her own genuine tears from caring and loving herself first other than the tears from someone who love her. Moreover, her own meaningful tear through Song Yi Kyung’s body becomes the first teardrop. In result, I think it lets us know she should take time for self-reflection and be ready for shedding genuine tears for others. That is, collecting 100% pure tears first requires her own strong will to revive and love for herself. All these things make Shin Ji Hyun take time to reflect herself with looking back her immature self and the tear seems like growing pain to real human.

Watching 49 Days, many viewers and netizens including me were curious what the relationship between Song Yi Kyung (Lee Yo Won) and Song Yi Soo (Jung Il Woo) is. But there is one scene that answers all our questions. Song Yi Kyung visited Psychiatrist Noh Kyung Bin again as she feels she’s getting stranger. And she got brainwave examination to check she is experiencing sleepwalking. During the examination, the scene of Song Yi Kyung and Song Yi Soo having happy time in the wide grass came out. Han Gang’s Shouting lines that expresses his confused mind but becomes famous lines.

Han Gang shows his confused mind and sayings between Song Yi Kyung and Shin Ji Hyun on episode #10. Han Gang’s line is like he’s angry but it is really nice lines that wave women’s heart even though I’m a man. First, seeing Song Yi Kyung plays piano, he felt like Shin Ji Hyun and shouts to Song Yi Kyung. Piano! That song!, Gesture with head and body! Your Expression! It’s Shin Ji Hyun. Then Song Yi Kyung said she is not Shin Ji Hyun. Then the other famous lines came out. I’m not talking about minor key or something like that! I just feel like that. As she refuted his thought and she thinks it’s absurd and Han Gang shouted another famous lines. No… it’s not possible.. I know but I feel like that.. I FEEL IT! You’re not Shin Ji Hyun but why are you like Shin Ji Hyun and do I feel Shin Ji Hyun from you! And I think these are the ‘three of the most famous piano*shouting lines’ that describe Han Gang’s confused mind.

Second, possessed Song Yi Kyung went to Han Gang’s office to say goodbye before she leave the real life. Shin Ji Hyun said ‘Good Bye, Gang’ in her mind.
