49 Days Episode #9 What is the truth of Han Gang’s heart – Extending Scheduler’s term is the foreshadow?

Han Gang (Jo Hyun Jae) tells Song Yi Kyung (Lee Yo Won) to work for his restaurant again because he cannot see her working at his friend’s fiancé Gang Min Ho (Bae Soo Bin). Seeing Han Gang (Jo Hyun Jae) worries her, Shin JI Hyun (Nam Gyu Ri) in Song Yi Kyung (Lee Yo Won)is about to cry. Finally she decides to work at Han Gang (Jo Hyun Jae)’s restaurant and to find the document next time because she knew where it is.

What is the truth of Han Gang’s heart as he is confused because of two women? Sympathy? or Attraction?- Han Gang will finally the truth about the possession?

After Han Gang took Song Yi Kyung from Gang Min Ho’s house, he asked the manager why he is doing so and whether he is doing right to feel Ji Hyun from Yi Kyung. Song Yi Kyung brings her hand to salute to Han Gang on the terrace. Seeing Song Yi Kyung, Han Gang laughs as Song Yi Kyung thinks he is her friend. Han Gang does not dislike Song Yi Kyung’s behavior. The manager asked that he like what Song Yi Kyung is doing. Han Gang said it’s like crazy and he seems like to deny the attraction toward Song Yi Kyung. The manager leaves meaningful message that time will tell you everything.

I am really curious what the truth of Han Gang’s heart toward two women is. Han Gang still like Shin Ji Hyun? Or Is it sympathy or sorriness as her friend? Or He newly has feelings for Song Yi Kyung? I want it the truth of Han Gang’s heart toward two women unveiled soon. At the end of episode #9, Han Gang visits Shin Ji Hyun in hospital but Ji Hyun’s father does not like him because he didn’t help Gang Min Ho.

Ji Hyun’s father is described as a stuffy man who is a poor judge of character. He doesn’t know even who truly likes his daughter.

As Gang Min Ho (Bae Soo Bin) worries Song Yi Kyung (Lee Yo Won)’s burn hand, he goes to home quickly but he couldn’t see her and worry. He thinks if she went to the restaurant and he goes out of home. Shin In Jung calls to him but he hangs up the phone after telling something urgent came up. She wonders if something is wrong.

Shin In Jung heads to the restaurant with doubts. Gang Min Ho (Bae Soo Bin) finds Song Yi Kyung (Lee Yo Won) will work at Han Gang’s restaurant and tells he does not have to worry her anymore. (Of course, we know he did not tell from his heart.)

Anyway, Han Gang’s friends gather together to celebrate his birthday when Song Yi Kyung works in the restaurant. (Each friend has different thought and there held something weird party.)



During Han Gang’s birthday party, Song Yi Kyung (Lee Yo Won) brings the beef broth. When Song Yi Kyung (Lee Yo Won) is about to tell the source of the beef broth, Shin In Jung takes her to one side and asks her to keep it secret that she went to Gang Min Ho (Bae Soo Bin)’s house. Song Yi Kyung retorts if Shin In Jung (Seo Ji Hye) is in relationship with Gang Min Ho (Bae Soo Bin).

Han Gang (Jo Hyun Jae) came out and Shin In Jung speaks vaguely. Song Yi Kyung (Lee Yo Won) gestured that she wouldn’t tell. This scene also makes Han Gang (Jo Hyun Jae) thinks of Shin Ji Hyun (Nam Gyu Ri)^^ But Shin In Jung also thinks of Shin Ji Hyun (Nam Gyu Ri) from Yi Kyung this time.



With Han Gang (Jo Hyun Jae)’s appearance, Shin In Jung cools down her confused mind after finishing talking.

After coming back to the home, Shin In Jung (Seo Ji Hye) confuses “Gang Min Ho lied to her and went to the restaurant” and “She felt Shin Ji Hyun (Nam Gyu Ri) form Song Yi Kyung.”

Gang Min Ho (Bae Soo Bin) comes to Shin In Jung’s house to comfort her but they argues in front of the house. Gang Min Ho makes Shin In Jung confused because he tried to comfort Shin In Jung (Seo Ji Hye) but he wants to make sure the truth of her heart.



In the meantime, Seo Woo watched them secretly and she heard the conversation between them, “Oppa~ blah blah blah” Seo Woo is curious what the relationship between two is. I can see the foreshadow that something will happen due to Seo Woo.


Meanwhile, Shin Ji Hyun (Nam Gyu ri) talked a lot to Song Yi Kyung (Lee Yo Won) even though she couldn’t hear her voice. One talks and the other is thinking something with a vacant look as if those two have known for a long time… the relationship between two in the drama is something weird like two but one. Maybe this is the story of everybody who watch this drama.

The other pitiful person, Shin Ji Hyun’s father decides to turn the company over to Gang Min Ho (Bae Soo Bin) who is young but has excellent management and work sills after he got brain tumor.



Gang Min Ho (Bae Soo Bin) suggested Shin Ji Hyun’s father to get surgery as her father decided to leave all to Gang Min Ho (Bae Soo Bin). Though Gang Min Ho (Bae Soo Bin) wants to make the company to go bankrupt, he worries him. He seems to have resentment to Shin family… Maybe Shin Ji Hyun (Nam Gyu Ri)’s father is also Gang Min Ho (Bae Soo Bin)’s father? It won’t happen but I have some funny idea that Shin Ji Hyun (Nam Gyu Ri) is Gang Min Ho (Bae Soo Bin)’s half sister.

Why did Gang Min Ho (Bae Soo Bin) spend a long time to sought only one goal (?) to destroy Family Yoo though he worries in 49 Days?



In the meantime, Shin In Jung (Seo Ji Hye) accidently finds the will testament that the president will turn the company to Gang Min Ho (Bae Soo Bin) in the office and let Gang Min Ho (Bae Soo Bin) know.
As Shin In Jung (Seo Ji Hye) doesn’t know why he makes his will early, she asks Gang Min Ho (Bae Soo Bin) but he pretend not to know and tells her to take time.

Anyway Song Yi Kyung (Lee Yo Won) continued to try to collect the tears with meeting with her three friends. Today is the day. She went the place and tells Ji Hyun’s recent situation to her friends to induce them to cry. But,



They tell that they were the best friends of her and cry as there is a slight chance to save Ji Hyun. Yi Kyung does not lose the opportunities and begins to record the video. Yi Kyung smiles with having hope in front of crying friends.

But the tear necklace doesn’t fill with the tear and Ji Hyun thinks of Scheduler’s saying in the past.

Scheduler told, “You can come back to real life with finding three people who truly love her you” and added, “As the evidences, you should collect tears from people who genuinely love you. 100% pure three tears.”
Ji Hyun is disappointed, ‘In what mind do you cry? What does that mean of cry?’. So one told because of having hard time and another do because of jealousy and the other said that she cries because she got accident after having plastic surgery and it was pitiful.

As Ji Hyun believes they are genuine friends, she is disappointed more and doesn’t know how she can collect the tears in short time.

After Song Yi Kyung (Lee Yo Won) disappointed with her friends, she might recent them… she might find how her friends think about her throughout this meeting. She has huge disappointment after finding how her friends think about her. She was like she only thought about herself, was too kind so makes them ignore themselves and self-centeredness. Do they gloat over Ji Hyun is in comma?

After she met her friends, she comes back to the restaurant but she doesn’t enter and sit out of the restaurant in vacant look. Han Gang finds her and asks why she is late.
She said she didn’t come for working but she just came here. Her eyes are filled with tears.

After Shin Ji Hyun’s father got brain tumor, he decides to turn the company over to Gang Min Ho (Bae Soo Bin) who is young but has excellent management and work sills. Shin Ji Hyun knew it and get chance to touch things instead of her one day (Scheduler told her). Possessed Song Yi Kyung sent one article that one woman woke up from comma in twenty years. Shin Ji Hyun’s father read the article but he thought he can’t wait for twenty years and is about to stamp his seal on his will document. But Ji Hyun disrupts with touching the seal,



Shin Ji Hyun’s father and witnesses thought it’s weird but tries to stamp again. Shin Ji Hyun begs him not to do but she doesn’t have ability to stop it. But Scheduler (Jung Il Woo) drops Shin Ji Hyun’s picture down to help Shin Ji Hyun (Nam Gyu Ri). In result, they decide to draw up the will later.



Scheduler dropped the picture down. Scheduler who always tells not to get involved in human affairs break the first rule of Scheduler. Shin Ji Hyun thanks to Scheduler but Scheduler says ‘Doesn’t she notice?’ with gazing around.

Then his senior Scheduler who helped Scheduler on the phone appears suddenly with riding black motorcycle. She is actor Ban Hyo Jung who appeared as Lee Seung Gi’s grandmother on ‘Brilliant Legacy’. She seems to have acquaintance so that she appeared as a cameo. Her charismatic acting was humorous. Scheduler Jung Il Woo tells to her senior scheduler who appeared with heavy smoky make-up and charismatic look that he can’t help it. The senior Scheduler tells, “Are you in a relationship with that soul? So we shouldn’t accept young soul to volunteer the scheduler as they recover human emotion too quickly.” Scheduler (Jung Il Woo) asked her to let it pass just this once but the senior scheduler tells him to work as scheduler one week more. Jung Il woo said, “It just thirty days left and what will you do if I say I couldn’t work overtime”. The senior scheduler replies, “It means all your efforts will be in vain.” Scheduler said, “You have no bowls” and the senior scheduler said, “I am not human, so.”

I thought how the extended work after breaking the rule will be the foreshadow that influence Scheduler’s destiny. Until the episode #8, the left time of Shin Ji Hyun and Scheduler passed similarly. But Scheduler left 30 days but it extends so that he left 37 days to do his desired thing that he said before. Shin Ji Hyun shortened one day from 49 days of travel. I wonder how the left time of Shin Ji Hyun and Scheduler will influence the plot.

 After Han Gang visited Shin Ji Hyun in hospital, he saw Song Yi Kyung play piano with humming in the restaurant. The music she is playing is the song that Shin Ji Hyun played in her high school days and he thinks of her playing piano.

Han Gang asked carefully to Song Yi Kyung, ‘Who are you! Are you Ji Hyun?’. Possessed Song Yi Kyung gawked at him with surprise… Does Han Gang realize Song Yi Kyung is possessed by Shin Ji Hyun?
