49 Days Episode 13

Han Kang (Jo Hyun Jae) hugs Yi Kyung (Lee Yo Won) and as she gets hugged, she closes her eyes. Then immediately after breaking apart, Yi Kyung (Lee Yo Won) says “what did you just do?” Han Kang (Jo Hyun Jae) says “What? Did I do anything?” Yi Kyung (Lee Yo Won) replies, “You just hugged me.” Han Kang (Jo Hyun Jae) says “I just hugged you because you looked so down. It is very common in America. I didn’t mean anything else by it. I just did it to cheer you up.”

She then says “Is your hobby to cheer up every woman by hugging them?” and off to the side, Jin Young is taking photos of the two of them hugging.

The two of them then head to a restaurant and order all sorts of food, including spaghetti, and beef risotto. All Song Yi Kyung (Lee Yo Won) needed to do was just taste the food once but Han Gang (Jo Hyun Jae) pushes the food towards Yi Kyung (Lee Yo Won), saying that it is a waste to leave food like that. He says that people work hard to eat and live so she should eat. He says “Revenge, food, love…nothing matters once you die.”

Yi Kyung (Lee Yo Won) looks at him because she finds him saying things he doesn’t normally say and he just blames it on the fact that Yi Kyung (Lee Yo Won) only has 48 days left.

Jin Young shows Min Ho (Bae Soo Bin) the picture of Han Kang (Jo Hyun Jae) hugging Yi Kyung (Lee Yo Won) and Min Ho gets surprised. Han Kang (Jo Hyun Jae) figures out that Ji Hyun (Nam Gyu Ri) hid the seal at the marriage and he seriously discusses things with an employee about investigating the staff of his company. Han Kang (Jo Hyun Jae) emphasizes that no one should know about this since talking to Ji Hyun’s (Nam Gyu Ri) father without any evidence is useless and he found out about Ji Hyun’s (Nam Gyu Ri) problems by himself.

Yi Kyung (Lee Yo Won) can’t stand still thinking about how she can get married to Kang Min Ho (Bae Soo Bin) without realizing since after the memories can be erased even if she survives. She went to Han Kang’s office since she was worried about her seal to tell him that she will be leaving her office early but Han Kang (Jo Hyun Jae) realized the source of her worry and said that her seal is safe.

Han Gang (Jo Hyun Jae) tells her to have a cup of coffee before leaving and while drinking coffee, the song that she sang comes on. Gang says that it is his mother’s favorite song. Yi Kyung finds the jewelry box and asks what it is but Gang grabs her hand and asks if she would like to go on a walk with him. On the way down from the office, Yi Kyung (Lee Yo Won) declines the offer saying she doesn’t have the time to just walk around but Han Gang (Jo Hyun Jae) grabs her arm and due to the force, she grabs onto him in an awkward hug.

Min Ho (Bae Soo Bin), who was waiting in his car for Yi Kyung (Lee Yo Won) sees this and is very surprised. Yi Kyung is slightly smiling, when Min Ho comes out of the car and slams his door.

“Song Yi Kyung…”

Han Gang tries to stop Min Ho from approaching Yi Kyung but when Min Ho says that he came to see her, Yi Kyung sends Han Gang away. Min Ho asks if she is trying to approach Han Gang and she says that Han Gang is a much better man than Min Ho. Min Ho asks if she was just playing around with his feelings and gets angry. However, she says that she knew Min Ho would return to her to talk things over. She also said that the stuff she said during the day was all complaints that she had for herself. Min Ho is trying to calm himself down while showing tears but when Yi Kyung tries to leave, he grabs her by the arms and forces her into the car.

Han Gang, who was looking at the scene from his office, clenches his fists in anger.

Min Ho asks Yi Kyung what happened in Jin An since she didn’t recognize him. Yi Kyung says that she has a disorder where she can suddenly collapse and after waking up, she can see hallucinations and also that she didn’t see the need to tell a man who will end up going to Shin In Jung (Seo Ji Hye). She tells him that she wants to go back to the small restaurant that she went to and asks which restaurant he goes to now since he became very successful. Min Ho says that his mother’s last meal outside the house was at that restaurant and that she has been in the hospital since then. Min Ho also confesses that his “mother” who attended the engagement was a fake one. Yi Kyung starts to think that the passcode may be the birthday of Min Ho’s mother, so she grabs his hand. She says “you also lead a sad life. You have as many stories to tell as I do.” Min Ho says that he will take her home to see where she lives but Yi Kyung cuts him off and says that she will tell him where she lives when the time comes. She then goes to take the bus home.

Min Ho then signals Jin Young to follow Yi Kyung. Yi Kyung doesn’t know about this and is deep in thought while on the bus. The scheduler then pops out of nowhere and signals her to look behind the bus. She then sees Jin Young driving in her father’s car. She thought that Min Ho set him up to follow her since Min Ho is an alumni in Jin Young’s high school.

Yi Kyung and the Scheduler (Jung Il Woo) both get off the bus and immediately start running. Jin Young tries to follow them by car but he loses them. Yi Kyung asks the Scheduler “aren’t the tears for me already exist and the reason for the 49 days is to give the soul that isn’t ready to completely die yet a gift?” The scheduler says that he can’t say anything more and doing so would be crossing the line. Yi Kyung tells the scheduler that she will find Song Yi Soo for the scheduler and the scheduler tells her to be careful.

At Min Ho’s house, In Jung is sitting on the sofa. Min Ho looks very tired. When he says that it bothers him that she just comes and goes from his house, she tells him to change his passcode. Min Ho tells In Jung that she is being followed and suggests that she go out of the country to study. In Jung thinks that Min Ho is doing that just to get rid of her and Min Ho says that he likes Yi Kyung. He also says that since 2009 October 5^th, he’s only done business for his company.

Min Ho says that their feelings for each other are fading since they have no memories of the past together. When he says that he thought In Jung felt the same, she lets the tears flow.

Kyung Bin visited. Yi Kyung is currently being treated via hypnosis. She sees herself returning to the hotel after fighting with Lee Soo. She sees herself brightening up after seeing Min Ho. She says that she was surprised when she saw Min Ho and In Jung go into the hotel together. The person that saw it wasn’t her but it is her. She sees everything that happened when Ji Hyun was in charge of her body. Kyung Bin says that it is her past life but Yi Kyung realizes something is going on and stops talking about it right away.

Yi Kyung returned to her house. She goes to hang her clothes and Ji Hyun goes and stands right next to her. After Yi Kyung hangs her clothes, her arm brushes Ji Hyun’s body slightly. Yi Kyung is shocked and starts looking at where Ji Hyun is. Ji Hyun felt this too. She is surprised and just sits down. Yi Kyung looks around.

Han Gang visits Min Ho and says that he will retake the Hae Mi Island Project. In Jung is looking for any information on Yi Kyung and gets her hands on Yi Kyung’s phone number.

In Jung takes Ji Hyun’s mother out for some pasta and takes her to Han Gang’s restaurant. Yi Kyung hasn’t come to work yet.

Yi Kyung is trying to find Song Yi Soo but so far, no luck. She gets a call from Han Gang and he tells her to come to the restaurant in 5 minutes. When she arrives, Han Gang gives her a water pot and tells her to pour water to In Jung and Ji Hyun’s mother.

Ji Hyun’s mother notices Yi Kyung and says “Jung Eun! You worked here? This here is Park Jung Eun.” And introduces her to In Jung. In Jung says “Song Yi Kyung was Park Jung Eun?”

In Jung asks Yi Kyung what her real name is and Yi Kyung says that “Yi Kyung” is her nickname on an online café.

Han Gang sends away Yi Kyung with Ji Hyun’s mother and talks with In Jung. He tells her that he knows about Yi Kyung’s relationship with Min Ho. Han Gang leaves after telling In Jung not to involve Ji Hyun’s mother in this. In Jung comes in.

Knowing that In Jung will tell everything to Min Ho, Yi Kyung calls Min Ho first. Min Ho picks up smiling but Yi Kyung hangs up right after she says that she will wait in front of his house. Soon, In Jung calls Min Ho but his expression changes and turns off his phone.

Han Gang says that he didn’t know about his mother’s health condition or her divorce situation when he was sent off to the United States and he doesn’t know when she passed away either. He then relates this story to Ji Hyun and suggests that Ji Hyun’s father should get the surgery for Ji Hyun. However, Ji Hyun’s father asks what right Han Gang has to suggest such a thing and yells.

In front of Min Ho’s apartment. Yi Kyung is staring into the sky while sitting on a bench. Min Ho says “let’s go for a drive” but Yi Kyung says that she has something to say and goes into his apartment.

Yi Kyung says that she was happy to know that she was Ji Hyun’s friend and that Min Ho was engaged to Ji Hyun but when she found out the entire story, she hated Min Ho. In Jung comes in and sees Yi Kyung talking with Min Ho. Yi Kyung says “I’ve said all In Jung was going to say, so if you think I’m lying, just talk with In Jung again” before leaving. Min Ho yells at In Jung that he needs some time to think for himself.

In Jung looks like she is about to faint when she comes out of Min Ho’s house. Min Ho comes out and is hurrying to get somewhere.

Min Ho goes to Han Gang’s restaurant. Han Gang is working on the Hae Mi Island project. He is working so hard that he doesn’t realize Min Ho is there. Min Ho knocks and Han Gang quickly closes the notebook. Min Ho asks if Han Gang knew about Song Yi Kyung. Min Ho asked why Han Gang didn’t step in whenever Min Ho was getting connected to Yi Kyung.

Han Gang says that he trusted Min Ho and that he likes Yi Kyung. Yi Kyung comes out of her house. Ji Hyun follows her out to go to Min Ho’s house but she notices that Yi Kyung seems a little suspicious so Ji Hyun follows her. Yi Kyung is sitting in front of a building. Ji Hyun is showing tears because she thinks Yi Kyung looks lonely.

Ji Hyung tries to touch Yi Kyung’s hair and Yi Kyung gets surprised at the contact. Ji Hyun is equally as surprised, and pulls her hand back.

Ji Hyun follows Min Ho home and Min Ho falls asleep without opening up his safe. Three days pass by…

Yi Kyung is returning home after work. Ji Hyun quickly runs and calls out “Unnie!” Yi Kyung is shocked and looks around, searching for the source of the sound. She then quickly runs into the house.

Yi Kyung is sitting down and Ji Hyun is right next to her. Yi Kyung is crying. She says “Don’t do this to me… Yi Soo… Not now…” Ji Hyung is crying with her.

Yi Kyung then looks for her yearbook after realizing that there is a contact number in there. Song Yi Kyung, she is smiling. Next to her is Song Yi Soo. They went to the same school. But! He looks just like the scheduler.

Yi Kyung immediately calls the scheduler and hangs up after saying she will go to the music room. Scheduler is typing something on the keyboard.

Yi Kyung comes in and the scheduler is annoyed. Before he could say anything, Yi Kyung says that she found Song Yi Soo and shows the Scheduler the yearbook.

Scheduler sees the yearbook and Yi Kyung is looking at the scheduler’s face for a reaction. Scheduler’s eyes widen…!!! “This is me?!”
