[ASKKPOP] 4minute become promotional ambassadors for 'Maze Runner: Scorch Trials'

The girls will take part in a variety of events up to the premiere in mid-September. 'Scorch Trials' is the sequel to last year's box office hit 'Maze Runner', which is based on the book series of the same name.

First up for 4minute is the red carpet event on September 2 when they'll also meet two of the stars,Ki Hong LeeandThomas Brodie-Sangster.

The first film was a huge hit not only worldwide but especially in Korea last year, and it looks like the sequel will have similar results. That might have been because the movie series features a notable character of Korean descent (Minho is played by Ki Hong Lee), and it's a well-made, thrilling dystopian film based on a very popular book series. But now that 4minute are the ambassadors, we're positive 'Scorch Trials' will skyrocket in the box office.

The movie premieres on September 17 in Korea.
