[ASKKPOP] 8 Female Idols That Pull Off Crazy Hair: Blue Edition

It's another edition of'Idols That Can Pull Off Crazy Hair.'This time, we're covering one of the trendiest--and arguably the craziest thus far--colors we've seen on K-pop idols:BLUE! So, let's take a look at which female idols have rocked this look.

Hello Venus' Lime

It's pretty difficult to overlookHello Venus' Limewith her electric blue hair--of all the idols that are known to rock this look, she definitely wears it the loudest and the brightest.  Her cotton candy hair matches her bubbly personality.  In addition she had a short semi-permed pixie cut (similar toGirl's Generation's Sunny), making her extra cute and lovable.

T-ara's Qri

Qriis one of those idols that is constantly rocking all sorts of edgy colors.  Although I was a huge fan of her purple hair, I think blue may be my favorite color on her.  Her signature long, wavy hair paired with the blue color gives her a whimsical, mermaid look.  This charismatic girl is definitely one of the more underrated idols in my opinion.

2NE1's Park Bom

It may be easy to overlook the fact thatPark Bomhas had some crazy hair styles in the past because all of the2NE1members are so fashion forward and always trying new looks.  However, Park Bom's blue hair is one of my favorite looks.  She paired it with long hair and full straight bangs.  She looked fashion forward and gorgeous at the same time.

KARA's Jiyoung

I personally loved each look of theKARAgirls during their "Pandora" promotions--fromHara'sred hair and straight bangs to Nicole's platinum blonde hair.  However, my favorite look was definitelyJiyoung'sblue hair.  Not only was it a pretty shade but she also paired it with a shorter cut that I think complements her face (and image) perfectly.

SECRET's Ji Eun

I think everyone was a little shocked whenJi Euncame out with blue hair for her solo promotions.  I, for one, was used to her cutesy image that we saw during herSECRETperformances.  When one thinks of blue hair in K-pop, Ji Eun is easily one of the first to come to mind.  I love that she showed us a bolder, darker image, proving that she can pull off any concept.

Red Velvet's Wendy

WhenRed Velvetfirst debuted, each girl had their own color for their first single,'Happiness.'I definitely usedWendy'sblue hair as a distinguishing factor (as I did with all the other members). I loved this sharp contrast look on all of the girls. Wendy's cobalt blue color was the perfect balance of feminine, like her look, and strong, like her vocals.

2NE1's Dara

Daraalways rocks unique hairstyles--and somehow she manages to pull all of them off and continuously look flawless.  For2NE1's "Come Back Home"promotions, she rocked a half bob, half long cut that was all blue.  The hairstyle matched their futuristic concept really well.  Not only was her look appropriate but it was also new, fresh, and she looked amazing.

f(x)'s Luna

Whenf(x)first releasedLuna'steasers for their upcoming promotions, more so than thinking bout how excited I was that one of my favorite girl groups was making a comeback, I was thinking how gorgeous Luna looked with blue hair.  Luna looks edgy with her chic blue bob--it perfectly contours her pretty girl features.
