[ASKKPOP] A-JAX's Hyeongkon cast as lead of the musical 'Scent of Chrysanthemums'
A-JAX'sHyeongkonhas been cast in the musical 'Scent of Chrysanthemums' as one of the lead actors! He'll be sharing the role of Seung Woo with the musical actorJang Duk Soo.
'Scent of Chrysanthemums' was originally released as a film back in 2011, and it will open as a musical on November 15. The female role of Mee Joo will be portrayed by talented musical actressesYoo Jung EunandSeo Ji Yoo.
Hyeongkon commented, "When I watched the movie 'Scent of Chrysanthemums' when I was younger, I remember crying a lot. When I was offered a part in the cast, I didn't even hesitate and said I wanted to do it."
He added, "I like that in musicals you can sing and act at the same time, and it has always been a genre that I wanted to challenge myself with. Since it is my first musical and it's my first time acting on stage, I will work hard to put my best foot forward so please come watch."
