A tiny deer born in the Los Angeles Zoo has been named after NCT’s Haechan!

An endangered baby deer was presented with the name of NCT Haechan. 

"I received the name of the new K pop star NCT Haanshang from Pudu (the world's smallest deer) who was recently born in Los Angeles (LA) Zoo," the Los Angeles Times reported yesterday. 

This is the story of the baby Pudu, best known as the world 's smallest deer, to have the name NCT. Baby FooDoo was born on December 19, last year at LA Zoo Botanical Garden. Fudu is an endangered species worldwide, and at the zoo in Los Angeles, Pudu's birth news was a hot topic. The Los Angeles Zoo has announced the birth of Pudu through the official SNS to announce this delightful affair. 

But Fudu was the nickname of the NCT. It is called "Pudu" among the fans because it is similar to the tongue that comes out when eating the round eyes and something. The fans began to share the story of the incident with Pudu 's birth, and the LA zoo also got to know it because of the fans' reaction. 

The Los Angeles Zoo has begun a donation campaign for Baby Pudu as NCT fans show great interest in Pudu, saying, "Generally, animals born in Los Angeles Zoo can be named by donors to support species conservation work." When she raised $ 2,000 for five days, she was going to give her a name that is similar to Pudu. 

Following the fund raising success, baby Pudu was officially given the name "Haechan" and the fans started to call this baby Pudu immediately "Baby Haechan". The zoo said, "If you come to Los Angeles next time, I want you to come to the zoo to meet with the same name."
