Actress Han Hye Jin pays hospital fees for burn victim patient from Myanmar

ActressHan Hye Jin, who is known as the “Healing Angel” for her consistent charity work, performed another good deed by paying for the hospital fees of a burn victim patient from Myanmar.

Korea University Medical Centerrevealed,“24-year-old Somo Ehnang is a burn victim patient who couldn’t close her eyes and move her neck properly for the past 12 years. She wasn’t able to fully complete treatment in Myanmar, so she arrived in Korea on January 12th to receive treatment. She underwent her third round of surgery and will receive her fourth on the 7th. The surgery and hospital fees usually cost around 100 million won (~$92,000 USD), but the Korea University Medical Center generously lowered the fees to 30 million won (~$28,000 USD), and Han Hye Jin personally offered to cover the bill.”

Her agencyNamooActorsstated,“As aWorld Visionambassador, she conducted charity work in Tanzania this past year, but we were unaware of this activity. She usually does good deeds without the agency knowing, so there have been instances when we heard about it later from other sources.”

Han Hye Jin is currently a co-host onSBS‘ ‘Healing Camp‘ and will also be making her return as an actress in the upcoming SBS drama ‘All About My Love‘, which will premiere this April.
