Actress Im Soo Jung becomes the victim of hateful comments for her no-makeup face
The groundless hate was aimed towards the actress and the selfie she had posted on her Instagram on March 11. In the photo, Im Soo Jung's appears to be completely free of makeup as she stares tiredly into the camera. She had uploaded this picture with the words, "I was a little...exhausted today but I will try to gain my energy with some delicious food."
When this particular Instagram post was beset with all sorts of hate comments, the actress didn't just silently boil and take it. She stood up for herself, uploading another bare face selfie on her Instagram with a much lengthier post. She wrote, "I don't typically like to wear makeup in my daily life. Of course, for important events, I do. When I'm trying to look my best as an actress, I enlist the help of skilled experts. People like stylists, makeup artists, and hair stylists. With their special touches, I transform into the actress Im Soo Jung. That is why those people are always a thankful existence in my life and also people I love dearly. But as for the regular me, the me in these photos is as good as it gets. It's not like I have incredible confidence in my bare face so I wish I could upload a prettier me..but what can you do when I'm at an age where even the slightest changes in my body show themselves on my face haha. My best friend is already a mother with cute, lovable children in a happy family, and that is very natural. I just happened to have selected a different path in life, but I'm perfectly aware of my age. And I accept and love myself as the way I am now.
