Actresses fall victim to bullying from ARMYs and EXO-Ls subsequent their 'Happy Together' appearance

As reported earlier, young, up-and-coming actressesSeo Shin AeandKim Hwan Heewere guests on the recently aired episode of 'Happy Together' along withEXO'sSuho,Chen, andChanyeol.

Though what the actresses said during this episode was entirely harmless and without any intent to offend, it has somehow triggered an angry backlash, particularly fromEXO-Ls andARMYs. The MCs had questioned the girls if they liked EXO, and Seo Shin Ae and Kim Hwan Hee answered politely that though they did like EXO,they preferred other artists.

It seems that the girls' answers ruffled many a feathers of those in the EXO and BTS fandom. EXO-Ls flooded Seo Shin Ae's Instagram and left a tide of spiteful comments, and the actress tried to drive the haters away with a post that read, "People who don't even know me are insulting me so easily. Life is not a cake walk. Not everyone is bound to like me. I won't let myself be hurt by people I don't even know." Unfortunately, the hate comments continued and the Seo Shin Ae was eventually forced to close her account.

Kim Hwan Hee also fell victim to bullying and threats from ARMYs who managed to insult her despite her lack of a social media presence. Some of the hate comments on Twitter read, "Stop mentioning BTS Hwan Hee you bitch. Don't like them," "F*ck off Hwan Hee," "Ah...Hwan Hee, seriously, get lost. F*ck,""I'm not going to watch 'The Wailing'(movie Kim Hwan Hee acts in)because I'm pissed," "Um, Hwan Hee please STFU," and more.

What is your take on this whole issue? Do the fandoms have a right to feel indignant or do you think they have taken things a little too far?
