After BTS’s Record-Breaking 2018, Profit Of Big Hit Increase 132 Percent

The Big Hit Entertainment has announced the 2018 results. 

Big Hit Entertainment disclosed its audit report on March 19, 2018 and announced business results. According to the earnings data released this year, Big Hit recorded the highest sales since its founding, with sales of KRW 214.2 billion, operating profit of KRW 64.1 billion, and net income of KRW 50.2 billion in FY 2018. This is an increase of 132% in sales, 97% in operating profit and 105% in net profit. 

The Big Hit is a total of 5.15 million album sales (based on the Gonzalez chart), including sales of more than 4.05 million copies of the "Answer" album by LOVE YOURSELF 轉 'Tear' and LOVE YOURSELF by 2018, and 'LOVE YOURSELF' World tour and so on. Record high sales growth in all business segments, leading to high growth in music, content, MD and video publications. 

An official from Big Hit said, "In 2018, following the year 2017, the records of the bullet-proof boys were the best in terms of both appearance and profitability in line with the expansion of the business sector." In addition, "We have continued to pursue organizational change and improvement, and have made significant achievements in discovering new businesses."
