The vampire medical drama wasAhn Jae-hyeon's first starring role, and Korean netizens felt that he was not yet equipped to lead a drama. Yet,Koo Hye-seonwas the one that producers threw under the bus when they chose to acknowledge criticisms about her acting. PoorKoo Hye-seonended up publicly apologizing to the production team and her co-stars. The truth is that actors don't act in a vacuum, and the director should have taken on some of the blame for failing to direct her to quit with the weird accent and awkward mannerisms. �

Call me cynical, but when I first heard aboutAhn Jae-hyeonandKoo Hye-seondating, I initially assumed that it was a PR stunt to mitigate the damage done to their careers by"Blood". Imagine my surprise when I heard they were getting married, and now, a reality show will let us peek into their marriage. Even with the assumption thatAhn Jae-hyeonandKoo Hye-seonentered their marriage for the right reasons, their relationship has definitely proven to be a professional boon.
