Ahn Moon Sook, “I Decided to Retire Because I Was Tired of the Same Role”

Ahn Moon Sook talked about the negative effects that her constant image had on her.

She usually had the comical role in many works. She came out on “Win Win” and said “I got tired of the same kind of role over and over again. Since I had tried out all various kinds of works such as radio, musicals, sitcom and drama, I decided to retire.”

She retired and did not appear on any shows or in the entertainment scene for 5 years. She confessed that during those 5 years, she went through depression and her mother had to help her get over the depression.

On the show, the secret guest was Ahn Moon Sook’s mother and she joined the show through a phone call. She said “any male fans who are interested, should marry my daughter” and publicly looked for a future husband.
