BTS’s "Epiphany" comeback trailer gained an incredible number of views in the first day

BTS’s “Epiphany” Comeback Trailer Achieves Amazing Views In First 24 Hours.

The group released their comeback trailer “Epiphany” on August 10 at midnight KST, and it features a stunning new solo song by Jin, who also stars in the video. The trailer is a teaser for BTS’s upcoming repackaged album “Love Yourself: Answer.”

"Epiphany" lyrically draws on the overall message of the Love Yourself series. “I'm the one I should love in this world/Shining me, the precious soul of mine/I finally realize so I love me/Not so perfect but so beautiful/I'm the one I should love,” he sings over the building pop-rock melody, showcasing his sentimental vocal color. Later in the song, the first verse is replaced with “I want to love them in this world” in what appears to be a nod to how self-love is the starting point of all other loving relationships. 

Immediately after its release, the trailer trended on Twitter at No. 1 worldwide with the hashtag #Epiphany. Kim Seokjin, Jin’s full name, and #Jintro, a hybrid of “Jin” and “intro” also trended.

By August 11 at midnight KST, the video had surpassed 11.4 million views! It had also reached 2.1 million likes within those first 24 hours.
