Big Bang confirms second Japan tour

Big Bang is scheduled to tour Japan at five major venues, following a similar tour there last year. The boys are the first foreign artists to hold a concert tour at major locations in the country for two consecutive years.

The five-member group will embark on their "Big Bang Japan Dome Tour 2014" on Nov. 15 in Nagoya. Afterward, the group will move to Osaka, where they will perform from Nov. 20 to 23, and then to Fukuoka, where they will perform over two days from Dec. 6. Members will then meet with fans in Sapporo on Dec. 20. Big Bang will conclude the tour in Tokyo over two days from Dec. 26.

Eleven performances are scheduled in five cities, with an expected audience of 536,000.

"All the members are getting so excited because we can meet with fans through this tour again this year", saidG-Dragon, the leader of the K-pop group.

"We plan to practice hard to give a more powerful performance so that our concert venues will be the hottest place to be this year".

The size of the tour is smaller than last year's, when the group had 16 performances in six different cities from November 2013 to January in "Big Bang Japan Dome Tour 2013-2014". They met with 771,000 fans.

Although it has been a while since the entire group performed together, Big Bang's individual members have continued performing for Japanese fans.

Daesungreleased an album titled "D's Love" earlier this month and performed a solo concert in Japan. Another member,Taeyang, will also make his solo debut in Japan next month. He will also start his solo tour, "Sol Japan Tour, Rise 2014" on Aug. 12, one day before his official debut in Japan. The solo tour includes 13 performances across six cities, where he will meet with approximately 70,000 fans.
