[ASKKPOP] Big Bang dominates the download charts for 2015 so far

Big Banghas dominated the chartsandour hearts all summer long with songs from their 'MADE' series, and a recent download chart compiled byGaonserves as a testament to the group's immortalized popularity.



Among K-Pop's most popular male idols, Big Bang tops both the singles downloads chart and the total cumulative downloads chart for 2015 so far! All eight of the group's songs from the 'MADE' series, includingG-DragonandT.O.P's "Zutter," were in the top ten most downloaded singles thus far for this year. Also in the top ten wereEXO's "Call Me Baby" andiKON's "My Type."


Big Bang also placed first on the cumulative total downloads chart, recording a total of 8.5 million downloads for 2015! EXO,SHINeeand iKON surpassed the million mark, as well, with 3.1 million, 1.7 million, and 1.5 million downloads, respectively.


The netizen who shared these charts noted that artists seem to have a better chance at achieving a higher number of downloads the more albums they release.


Congratulations to Big Bang for their continued success! The competition isn't over yet because there are still two months before 2016!
