Block B’s Zico and IU have shot to the top of the charts with the new track “SoulMate“

Zico and IU’s “Soulmate” was released on July 30 and it is an R&B Soul song that revolves around the idea of a soulmate. Zico took part in composing, writing lyrics for, and producing the song, and the song not only brings together Zico and IU but Crush in the chorus and Melomance’s Jung Dong Hwan on the piano as well.

The music video shows Zico and IU meeting around an elevator. The vintage color palette and witty cinematography add to the overall atmosphere of the music video.

By 8:30 p.m. KST, the song had already reached No. 1 on all six major real-time charts: Melon, Genie, Bugs, Mnet, Naver, and Soribada.

In Melon, 'Soulmate' pushed 'Way back home' of Shaun out of position #1.
