Boomwas reported to have left in the middle of his recording for 'Star King' due to difficulty dealing with the investigation for his alleged illegal online sports gambling.
Prior to filming of the show on the 11th, Boom informed the staff of his gambling scandal which surfaced on that very morning. He was reported to have entered filming for 'Star King' as originally scheduled atSBS Studioon the 11th at 2 PM KST but after three hours in, he informed the staff,"It is not possible for me to film any longer",leavingMC Kang Ho Dongto carry on the show by himself.
According to his agency Boom is currently waiting for the results of his investigation for alleged illegal online sports gambling with an apologetic heart.
