Chae Rim set to hold two weddings

ActressChae Rimwill have two weddings in October to celebrate her marriage to Chinese actor Gao Ziqi, her agency confirmed. The double ceremonies were planned so the pair could invite as many people as possible.

Her agency, Sidus HQ, said yesterday that the bride will have one wedding in Korea and another in China.

Their wedding ceremony will be conducted in China on Oct. 14. The couple will then travel to Korea for a traditional Korean-style wedding at Samcheonggak, in Seongbuk, northern Seoul, on Oct. 23.

The agency said that the decision was made for the convenience of the friends and family of the bride and groom. Both ceremonies will be closed to the public.

The couple started dating last year after working together on the Chinese drama "The Lee Family", which aired on CCTV.

The Chinese actor publicly proposed to the actress last month in Sanlitun, a popular bar district in Beijing.

He sang Shin Seung-hoon's "I Believe" in Korean and then knelt down on one knee before presenting her with a flower bouquet and a ring.
