Cube reveals Hyuna's 'Do It' sounds like 'Make It Pop's 'Do It' because the composer double-sold the song illegally

Cube Entertainment revealed they would be taking legal action againstBrian Lee, one of the composers ofHyunA's new songs.

They said,

Hello. This is Cube Entertainment.
We are making this statement about Brian Lee, one of the composers the song "Do It!" on HyunA's solo 5th mini album 'A'wesome', selling the song illegally.
First, we want to inform you about the relationships behind the song 'Do It!'. In March-April 2014, Cube Entertainment's composers (Seo Jae Woo,Big Sancho) and the foreign composer Brian Lee had a song camp, and the song was created during that camp. (During the song camp, Cube covered all of Brian Lee's costs and his airplane fare). It was a song camp hosted by Cube, and the song was created through the camp, so the song rights are at Cube Entertainment. The co-composers Seo Jae Woo and Big Sancho are included.
We then got permission from Brian Lee's publishing company in July 2016 for the song to be included in HyunA's album. We even confirmed multiple times that the song 'Do It!' was not released overseas while we were getting permission through the publishing company. However, after fans saw the 15 second teaser of 'Do It', international fans told us that the song 'Do It!' played exactly as it was on USA'sNickelodeon's 'Make It Pop'. After we got these reports, we checked, and confirm that the song was included in the 'Make It Pop, Vol. 1' album that was released on April 10th, 2015 in USA. (In the USA credits, the co-composers Seo Jae Woo, and Big Sancho were excluded as well).
The song 'Do It' was created in March-April 2014 at Cube's song camp, way before it was released in USA. The song was made a year before its airing in 2015 on the Nickelodeon channel is a revealed truth. It's especially serious that the song was released in USA without either Cube Entertainment, who has the first rights to the song, or the co-composers knowing.
Because of this, we believe that the song 'Do It' released in USA was because of Brian Lee's illegal double selling. As we explained before, the song was created way before it was broadcast on the Nickelodeon channel through Cube's song camp, some of the melody used was created by Seo Jae Woo, who is part of the Cube composer team, and the 'Do It' item itself was created by using Big Sancho's 'Do It vox synth' sound that Big Sancho made, so we cannot see this as Brian Lee's sole creation.
In response to our conclusion, Brian Lee is claiming that this is a different song, saying he used only a part of the song instead of the full song. However, both Seo Jae Woo and Big Sancho believe that the song 'Do It' that was broadcast through Nickelodeon is very similar in all parts (BPM, chord work, rhythm, similar instruments, etc) to the 'Do It' that was created at the Cube song camp.
As our company has the first rights to this song, we express our disappointment that Brian Lee decided to sell the song without the approval of Seo Jae Woo or Big Sancho, who also have rights to this song, and will be taking legal action if necessary. Thank you.
