[ASKKPOP] [DEBATE] Do you generally support or oppose idol-turned-actors?

Just the other day, an article about veteran actorChoi Min Sooshowing his dislike for singer-turned-actorsgarnered a lot of attention as netizens agreed with him and allkpop readers likewise pondered this controversial issue.

As a response, writerspakmanandmssyleedecided to tackle the issue and go head to head on the opposing sides of the conflict.  While pakman will argue against Choi Min Soo by saying idols-turned-actors are not all bad, mssylee will agree with the opinion that idols should be idols and actors should be actors.

pakman makes a good point that idols have a lot of experience in the general world of entertainment and recognition to boot, so there should be no problem with them trying on acting.  On the other hand, mssylee says that they are not able to juggle both acting and singing, so they should really just stick to singing.

What are your thoughts?  Do you think idols should act all they want or would you rather they stayed on stage than on screen?
