On January 3, the rapper and TV personality tweeted, "Are you guys enjoying the new year? I'm hoping to start 2016 with music. Regardless of the formality and scale of an album, I will diligently work towards my goal which is to have fun while producing and releasing quality tracks ^^."
In the past year, Defconn has made his mark in the industry as the right-hand man ofJungHyungDon, working on various projects and shows together, such as 'WeeklyIdol.'
