Audrey Magazine: (Performing in America): What are your thoughts? How do/did you feel? How does this compare to performing anywhere else?

Simon D: Performing in Asia like Japan and Singapore made me a little nervous thinking what if they do not know about me. Shows in Asia, however, were successful and this Seattle and Los Angeles ones were even better. I am really grateful to those local Korean and many non-Korean fans came for us. I think it can be in my best 3 memorable shows.
AM: Which of your songs has the most meaning in terms of your growth as an artist? Why?

SD: Every single song in Supreme Team albums is meaningful but the song called ‘EH HEY’ in my solo album, “SNL LEAGE BEGINS” means a lot to me. I put all my capability as a musician, and the very me on this song. Although the response of the album were not very good when it came out, but musicians around me gave me big applause.

AM: Please share a surprising fact about yourself that fans may not know about.

SD: People who only see me on TV are thinking that I am a little arrogant and hard, but my fans, ‘Hooligans’, already know that I am cuter and nicer than what they have expected, It’s embarrassing to say something like this

AM: Musicians that you would like to collaborate with in the future?

SD: Collaborating with Korean artist, Kim Gun-mo is one of my goals in 2012.

AM: Activities for 2012?

Simon D: I will work as an actor in “Standby” on MBC and will do various projects. Also, I will make a solo album and two secret albums that I cannot tell you about yet. I believe I can achieve one of my biggest goals this year.

AM: What are some weird/unique habits/rituals you have before performing?

SD: I stick out my hips to those on first row when I got really excited. And I give the bottle waters on the stage to fans who are thirsty because I don’t drink a lot.

AM: You are going to be making your acting debut in the sitcom, “Standby”! Congratulations. Please share some of your thoughts about your forthcoming acting experience and talk a little bit about your character. Do you relate to this character? Would you consider going into more acting projects.

SD: I am ‘SSamdi’ in the sitcom. He is from Busan and working at an Italian restaurant near a broadcasting station for success as a rapper. I can say I got a cute bad guy role since he is somewhat opportunist and about 70 percent of this character is very similar to me, like using Busan accents, and macho behavior. But snitching and flattering is not like me.

AM: As one half of Supreme Team – can we expect any new music from you two?

SD: I really want to work as Supreme Team this year. Please wait for us we will come back with awesome one.
