G-Dragon, KARA, INFINITE, Boyfriend, and MYNAME also rise to the top 10 on the Oricon charts
As mentioned already, TVXQ saw their name rise to #2 with Japanese single "Very Merry Xmas" charting at #2 on the Oricon Daily Single Chart.
They weren't the only ones spotted on Oricon as G-Dragon's Japanese solo debut album, 'Coup D'etat', sold 34,597 copies on its first day of release to rank #2 on the Oricon Daily Album Chart.
KARAalso showed their continuing popularity by rising to #4 on both the Daily Single Chart as well as Album Chart with Japanese single, "French Kiss" and their best album, 'Best Girls'.
BoyfriendandMYNAMEalso landed on the Weekly Single Chart with Boyfriend's "Pinky Santa" which rose to #5 and MYNAME's "Shirayuki" which trailed behind at #7.
In the DVD sales category, G-Dragon's DVD, 'G-DRAGON 2013 WORLD TOUR ~ ONE OF A KIND ~ IN JAPAN DOME SPECIAL', which was released on the 20th, rose to #2 on the weekly DVD music chart and #3 on weekly overall DVD chart. INFINITE's 'INFINITE First Arena Tour In Japan' ranked #2 on the daily DVD music and overall chart.
