The 'couple,' who boasts an impressive fan base in China, decided to appear on 'Day Day Up' together after receiving an offer from the show that they just couldn't refuse. Before the official airing of the episode featuring the 'Monday Couple,' 'Day Day Up' revealed some cuts from the scene of the recording to raise anticipation. As expected, Gary and Song Ji Hyo entertained the crowd to no end with a variety of games and peppy dialogue!

During the long talk, the two recalled their first impressions of one another, with Gary remembering, "I saw Song Ji Hyo for the first time in a movie. Since I was a fan, I had butterflies in my stomach. My first impression of her was that she was very feminine but as we started recording together, I noticed a cool side to her so I felt an unexpected charm."

Song Ji Hyo also remembered the first time she laid eyes upon the rapper, confessing, "Leessangwas so popular that I listened to a lot of their songs but since it was my first time doing variety, I was really nervous.
