[ASKKPOP] Girl's Day's Minah to take on a new acting challenge in MBC's 'Sweet Family'

In Korea, smaller cable channels liketvNandJTBCare stepping it up and doing incredibly well, butthe threemain broadcasting stations have beenMBC,SBS, andKBSfor a long time, so it's especially an honor when an idol gets cast in a drama under one of those companies!

Girl's Day'sMinahwill, as a matter of fact, be taking a big step by acting in an MBC drama! Her agency rep stated on September 18, "Minah will be appearing in MBC's new Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Sweet Family.'  She's only been confirmed as a cast member; the scheduling days are not out yet."

In the drama, she will be playing the daughter of Baek Ki Bum (played byJung Woong In) and Lee Do Kyung (played byYoo Sun).  Her character is a female high school student and an idol trainee named Baek Hyun Ji.  It's set to air in November following the completion of 'She Was Pretty'!
