[ASKKPOP] Girl's Day scrutinized for their alleged 'rude' behavior on internet broadcast

Girl's Dayare swept up in controversy for the supposedly rude way they acted on the internet show onAfreecaTV's 'Koon TV.'

According to what various online communities are claiming, Girl's Day was careless in their treatment of the the show's hostChoi Goon. In particular, there is a heated debate going on about Sojin's 'dumpling conflict' bit along with howHyeriused informal speech towards the viewers.

When Choi Goon laid down some dumpling on the table in front of the girls, Sojin said, "We don't eat dumplings," and moved them under the table. That part starts at around the 33:35 mark in the video above. Furthermore, reports say that when several viewers left comments saying, "This is no fun," Hyeri told them, "You're less fun," which prompted the host to mediate the situation with, "You can't do that." From what we can see, Hyeri may simply have been weary from the long broadcast and wasn't watching what she was saying. She also looked very sleepy, possibly in a food coma from binging in late night snacks. Near the end around the 43:00 mark, she appears almost zombie-like as she delivers her goodbye message to the viewers, but seemed a bit annoyed at the other members for loudly interrupting her. When Minah yelps something incoherent next to her, Hyeri turns to her with a slightly irritated look and said, "I'm talking right now," but the other members continue talking over her.

The video containing the group's appearance was said to be deleted, but clips are still circulating social media sites.

As the controversy intensified, Choi Goon gave his opinion on the matter, trying to explain what exactly happened. He stated, "I wanted to do a show that was more intimate, more like an internet broadcast. I got too ambitious in wanting to make it more realistic and funny and created certain scenarios showing [the girls] bickering. I couldn't catch what was being said in the chatting window in real-time. I should have handled the issues right away, but I was careless.

Choi Goon added, "You will learn from the pictures, but the atmosphere was great with Girl's Day. We even talked on the phone after the show. I hope there are no big misunderstandings."

You can view the interaction between the girls and Choi Goon in an extended video and shorter clip below.
