Girls' Generation's Tiffany Dating Nichkhun of 2PM

Tiffany ofGirls' Generationand Nichkhun of K-pop boy band2PMare in love,Girls' Generationmanagement agency SM Entertainment said Friday. It added the two teen idols have been in relationship for four months.

"They were close friends for a long time because of their shared background of having lived in the U.S. and recently became a couple", a spokesman for SM Entertainment said.

BothGirls' Generationand2PMare leading K-pop groups whose huge popularity extends beyond Korea.

Earlier this year, it was revealed thatYoonaof the same girl band is in a relationship with singerLee Seung-gi, and just a few days later bandmate Soo-young and actorJeong Kyeong-hoadmitted they are an item after a year of denials.

On a less happy note, on April 2, another member,Hyoyeonwas reported to police for assaulting her ex-boyfriend.

SM Entertainment has long had a policy of denying that members of the girl band were in relationships, but that has changed as their contracts are coming up for renewal. Showbiz insiders say talent factories are increasingly realizing that it is pointless trying to regiment the private lives of their stables.
