Gong Yoo reveals why he feels more apprehensive ten years after 'Coffee Prince'

ActorGong Yooguested on the July 21 airing of 'Newsroom' to talk about 'Train to Busan,' his latest acting gig. 

The actor revealed that at the time he was filming for 'Train to Busan,' a zombie apocalypse flick, the MERS epidemic was at the height of its rampage, saying, "Because the theme [of 'Train to Busan'] revolves around an epidemic, [the MERS virus] felt scarier at the time I was filming the movie. And the very first person to be infected [with MERS] was in Busan. Everybody was extra cautious, and during the filming, all the staff members wore masks and checked their body temperatures every day." 

Gong Yoo also talked about 'Coffee Prince,' the drama he did ten years ago which shot him to stardom. When 'Newsroom's anchorSon Seok Heeasked him what's changed in those ten years since the drama, the actor spilled, "I've grown more apprehensive. I have these ambitions that I don't want to lose sight of. I think might become self critical about the things I try to change about myself as I grow older and more knowledgable, more so than before."
