Gong Myung And Girl’s Day’s Sojin Kick Off Filming For New Drama

JTBC’s upcoming drama special “The Essence of Happiness” (working title) has officially begun filming!

“The Essence of Happiness” is a two-part comedy-drama about finding joy in the little things in order to combat the stress of daily life. It is the second runner-up of the 2018 JTBC drama festival. Actor Gong Myung and Park So-jin (Girls Day) were cast as the main actors.   
 
The JTBC drama festival 'The essence of happiness' (Yoon Jae Won, Director Yoon Jae Won, Producer Drama House) is a dramatized sitcom comedy-drama featuring twelve small happiness to overcome daily stress. 
 
Gong Myung is the 9th-grade civil servant of Namgoong Jin Soo, who is trying to express the stress of everyday life with a little happiness, Park So-jin will star as Jung Soo, the 'master of happiness' I took charge of water purification. The two actors who have been recognized for their stable performance are expected to draw 12 small but pure happiness. 
 

Gong Myung And Girl’s Day’s Sojin began shooting in earnest as they began scripting exercises on June 27 at the JTBC building in Sangam-dong. First of all, Resonance is a representative of 'Normal Crush' and loves everyday life that does not happen at all. I put the wings on the characters delicately expressing everyday things that are not special. 

According to those present during the drama’s first table read, both Gong Myung and Sojin immediately disappeared into their roles as soon as they began going through the script together. Gong Myung reportedly brought his character to life with his meticulous portrayal of Jin Soo, while Sojin impressed the rest of the cast and crew with her emotional and expressive acting.

Park So-jin showed herself immersing herself in the water station at the beginning of script writing exercise. It seems to be cool, but in the deepest part of my mind, I digested the essence that conflicts between stable work and what I want to do three-dimensionally. In every situation that changed, I applied various high and low metabolic tones and caught sight of the scene with rich emotional expression.
 
On this day, there were actors such as Yoo Won Won, Yoon Jae Won, Jong Il and Park Jae Won, Yoon Hee Lee, Oh Man Suk, Cha Cheon Hwa, Choi Sion, Ji Woo Woo, Kim Kwang Rae and Kim Yeeun. Director Yoon Jae-won said, "It is really good that the actors who have high sync rate with the characters are cast and actually read." "I will try my best to make a work that is a small but strong comfort for the young people who are living harder times than ever and at the same time seeking the best and happily." 
 
JTBC 2017 drama contest writer Yoo So Won writes and 'Madam Antoine' director Yoon Jae-won will direct the 'Happy Jinsu', which is expected to draw the happiness and vivid reality that men and women are pursuing in a young sense these days.

He commented, “Because we cast actors that matched well with their characters, they were really great during the script reading.”

He went on to add, “I will work hard in order to create a drama that can be of small but certain comfort to the youth of today, who are living in difficult times but are also searching happiness more passionately than any generation before.”

“The Essence of Happiness” will air in two parts during September.
