Gyuri to Return to Shim Shim Ta Pa

Kara’s leader Park Gyuri is returning to her position as a radio DJ after a 2 month hiatus.

Park Gyuri will return to MBC FM(91.9MHz) “Shindong, Park Gyuri’s Shim Shim Ta Pa” as a DJ. This will be her first appearance in 2 months after a brief hiatus due to troubles between Kara’s members and their management company.

Gyuri has limited her appearances in the entertainment scene to only “Alpha & Omega” promotions and schedules Japanese promotions. Shindong took over Shim Shim Ta Pa by himself during her break.

Park Gyuri said “I really wanted to return earlier. I thank the listeners and the staff for waiting on me for so long. To pay for my hiatus, I’ll work extra hard.”

In other news, Kara delayed the release of their third Japanese single, “Jet Coaster Love” because of the recent earthquake.
