On July 20, Heechul wrote on his Instagram,"Congratulations to the fifth year since the birth of 'Weekly Idol.' When I debuted, there were many places for rookie idols to come out on like 'Star Golden Bell,' 'X-Man,' 'Love Letter,' and 'Six Heroines,' but these days, there aren't that many. Because of that, I feel more that 'Weekly Idol' is precious. I hope that it will go on for a long, long time in the future, too."
Hani wrote,"Congratulations to 'Weekly Idol' on its fifth anniversary. I believe that 'Weekly Idol' is a program that not only EXID but also many other idols are grateful toward. It's such an honor that I can congratulate the program like this, and I hope that 'Weekly idol' will keep getting a lot of love for a long, long time past 10 and 20 years.
