Hong Jin Young cries while talking about her rigorous transition from girl group to trot on 'Unnies' Slam Dunk 2'

"I kept debuting as a girl group member but failed miserably. Then my representative suggested I try out as a trot singer, but I really didn't want to at first,"explained Hong Jin Young.

She continued,"When I would show up at music programs all the other people were idol stars whereas I was the only trot singer. I was all alone."

Hong Jin Young then shed tears, saying,"It was really hard for me as a rookie." In regard to her prickly character as seen on television, the singer commented,"I tried so hard to make it to the top but instead I was rattled with negative feedbacks." She added,"I would cry every night once I got home."

However,"I really wanted to become a singer so I didn't want to give up,"she mentioned receiving much support from her fellow members.
