Hwang Chi Yeol showed some love for BTS!


On April 24, the singer held a showcase for his second mini album “Be Myself.” He commented on his first ever showcase, saying, “I thought only idols held showcases. I’m so happy I get to hold a showcase. Half of me is nervous, but the other half of me is happy.”

Hwang Chi Yeol was then asked about the many idols who had covered his previous release “A Daily Song.”

“BTS’s Jungkook covered my song. I was sitting with HyunA and BTS at an awards ceremony, and I heard Jungkook singing a song. I wondered if it was my song, and it was. I got really happy and I thanked him,” Hwang Chi Yeol revealed.


“Jungkook was so good at singing it. It felt like it was actually his song. I hope he sings my song this time as well. I’m a BTS fan,” he shared.

Hwang Chi Yeol made a comeback on April 24 with his music video for “The Only Star.”
