[ASKKPOP] IU's 'uncle fans' raise money for elderly who live alone

IU's 'uncle fans' have stepped up to help out elderly people who live alone.

Funding companyIncujectorrevealed,"We've handed over 600,000 won (~565 USD) to the Korea Love Volunteer Association. [The money] was raised by 26 of IU's fans during a 2-week project for the elderly who live alone."

IU's fans decided to donate to the cause after her recentselcascandal involvingSuper Junior'sEunhyuksurfaced online.

One fan stated,"It's a small sum of money, but seeing the people over at the volunteer association thank us sincerely made me proud and happy. I'm thankful and happy when I see IU actively promoting despite being hurt [by recent events as well]."
