"I will design 'Nike Air Max' myself."

There is an opportunity to launch Nike Air Max, designed by the public. 

Nike will hold a design workshop "Nike: ON AIR" to participate in the  Nike footwear design process. 

According to Nike on the 14th, this workshop is an event to commemorate Air Max Day, including Seoul. Paris, London, New York, Shanghai and Tokyo. 

This workshop will be held for the general public who have no product design experience. Participants will experience a Nike creative session that spans design briefing, concept building and design mood-boarding phases, giving each city the opportunity to create one of ten Air Max icon models inspired by each city. 

Participants in 'Seoul: ON AIR PRODUCT WORKSHOP' were inspired by the mentality of creative professionals and the help of Nike designers, from the meaning of Seoul and the experiences in it, .

The detailed program of 'Seoul: On Air Product Workshop' consists of 'concept development', which is to build ideas and stories, 'silhouette selection' to decide sneakers according to concept, materials to be used in upper production, It consists of five steps: 'material exploration' to learn, 'color inquiry' to determine the optimal color to express the concept, and 'embellishment process' to realize the idea drawn in the head with the product.

Participants submit their own completed Air Max concept drawing to Nike Designers and judges composed of Influencers representing each city's culture. Among the submitted concepts, three of the best designs are selected for each city, and the selected designs are implemented in 3D form, and the online voting process is conducted to select the best air max for each city. The design with the highest number of votes will be released later as actual products.
