Idols I need more of in 2016

1. Idols I need more of in 2016
2015 was jam packed with some awesome debuts, boss @ss comebacks, and songs that I could play on repeat for days and never get sick of. With that being said, I need more of this magic that is K-Pop in my life! My resolution? To jam out to more of these amazing artists in 2016! Although it was absolutely hard to narrow down the list, no ifs, ands or buts - these idols need to hit the scene hard in the new year.
2. BTS
The boys basically blew up, slayed and owned the crap out of 2015 and I will not be surprised to see them doing it all over again in 2016! Their songs are the TGIF of music. You just can't resist being eager for releases and soaking in the awesomeness of each lyric. I feel "Dope" was the highlight of all their releases. It was featured on Youtubers React, sound clips during a football game, and the boys even placed 3rd on Billboard's "20 Best Songs of 2015." Keep climbing to the top BTS and don't forget to throw some smooth songs like "One Day" our way!
3. Wassup
The twerk queens seemed to be absent during this past year as the twerk craze fizzles out. Although I cannot predict what the next dance craze will be, I'm curious as to why these girls didn't push down the doors of sex appeal since just about everyone else was. The reason I want them in 2016 is because I am curious of what they will try to put out there to gain the spotlight next.
4. Teen Top
The guys who bring tears to the eyes of women everywhere, Teen Top! When "Ah Ah" was released, I was in total fangirl mode, heart palpitations at a high and breathing heavy along with the beat. But "Ah Ah" was not enough, so I speak for many when I say we demand more Teen Top! Bring back our heartthrobs!
5. Wonder Girls
This comeback was much needed. Everyone was put in a limbo sending a constant nudge towards JYP to give us some details on the activities of our wonder women. When the members finally came together to deliver an extraordinary piece of 80's synth beauty, the world of K-Pop was welcoming with arms wide open. We still have our arms open because there is room for more Wonder Girls in 2016!
6. Seventeen
These boys debuted strong and definitely met, and possibly surpassed, expectations of many. They have a great image, they definitely rock some fun, well-organized choreography and the boys each have a unique look (I'm talking about you, Jeonghan!). I think they have a great presence and are in the making of something big. Much fortune to them in 2016!
7. EXO
EXO are without a doubt delivering day in and day out. Although going through a lot of up and downs these past few years, they still manage to pull through together and dominate the K-Pop scene with hits like "Call Me Baby" (personal karaoke favorite) and "Love Me Right." Now that the dust has settled in the drama battlefield for them, let them push through 2016 with great spirit!
8. BESTie
Excuse me, but if you haven't thought of including BESTie in your playlist, you are missing out! They are not just a pretty face on stage, they boast some powerful vocals and catchy songs! It isn't just catchy, the lyrics offer a lot more than some of the been there done that songs of 2015. They were very active in 2014 and I need that same energy in 2016.
9. Zico
The prince of rap, his songs are just great to get down to when I need something a little less pop and mainstream. Zico has an androgynous style I can appreciate and his songs are just really really catchy. He has received a lot of attention this year from many, including myself, for his rap genius. I will gladly welcome his anticipated 2016 releases into my K-Rap playlist!
10. Nine Muses
Nine Muses are always working hard and pushing some sort of revamped style but I still feel they aren't hitting that winning mark. Don't get me wrong, they aren't that underrated but they are total diamonds in the rough. Despite losing some really valuable members, they still pull through to deliver great K-Pop and I want to see them do more in 2016. Hopefully something similar to their songs like "Figaro" and "Ticket!"
11. SHINee
SHINee, SHINee, SHINee, SHINee, SHINee! They completely blew me away as they had awoken a life inside of me I didn't know was there until "Married To The Music" was released! The style was outrageous and their powerful vocals were something I was looking for in other groups but couldn't find - their sound is just too unique! SHINee knew they were long overdue and awaited by many, so they need to strike while the iron is hot and do even more in 2016!
