In a recent interview with Star News, INFINITE’s L (Kim Myung Soo) talked about what it’s like to perform as a five-member group while Sunggyu is in the military.

The number of "idol singers" who open the second act of life as an actor is increasing every year, but it is in your hand that you settled successfully . 

Even if you have a strong singer, even if you have a solid fandom, even if you have an outward appearance, as long as your performance is not supported, you will be exposed to the gold standard. A few people who have survived the prejudice against the so-called "idol singer" by themselves, can grow to become the main characters. 

El (27, Kim Myung-soo) of the boy group Infinite is one of the cases that he puts in his hand. Since his debut in 2010, he has been performing actively since. He has recently become more prominent as "actor Kim Myoung-su". Last year, she won the best male icon in the MBC drama 'Monarch - masters of masters' in 2017.

Last year she won the best icon of the actress category in the '2018 Asia ARTIST AWARDS' with JTBC drama 'Miss Hamamurabi' I was awarded. I met El at the star news interview corner 'Let's have a cup of tea', which is building up the filmmaking skills and making the position as 'actor Kim Myoung-su'. Unlike the first impression that seemed cold and blunt, I welcomed the reporter without hesitation.

- I had a fan meeting last year. How did you prepare? 

▶ This time (as a member of the Sung Kyu army) I choreographed five people. I had a lot of things to change, so I really worked hard. I have a lot of existing choreographers and I have to sing with new choreography. The song parts are getting bigger. Especially, it became a treble part. I did not play well because I did not have a high tone. "I have to be good" was a lot of pressure. I also had to go to the acting target and prizes, and the next day it was hard because it was a performance . Still, it was fun because it was a formal meeting with the fans. 

- It seems that there was a lot of change in the song part as well as the main vocal (Kim) Sung Kyu. 

▶ Yes. I took a lot of it. I think I did more than half of it. Still, when all the members were playing vocals, I could fill in the blanks for vocals. Above all, it was more difficult to play the stage by changing the existing choreography. I think it was hard to do that because I had to go to a different location from my previous choreography. 

- Can I see Infinite activities this year? 

▶ I have so many personal schedule. To be honest, I'm still in the planning stage. There is nothing that has been done, but there are many things that we have prepared, so I think that other group activities will arise. 

- What is Infinite to El? 

▶ Members have been watching since their childhood before their debut, I just know. Regardless of what I choose to do, I think I will be meeting well. 

- I'm 27 now. When is your military service plan going on? 

▶ Well ... When the time comes. There is nothing definite. I have so much to do right now. It's an important time for me. 

- Maybe it is time to expand the sphere as an actor in the singer, and to consolidate his position? 

▶ There is someone who knows a certain degree if it is called 'singer el. 'Actor Kim Myoung-su' is not yet as big as El. So now I think it is important to expand my position as an actor. Of course, not every moment can be important, but it seems more so now.  

- This year I already got into a new piece. KBS 2TV New drama 'Only one love' is cast as a male character. 

▶ As soon as I started as a singer, I want to show a lot more variety. I had a historical drama last year, and last year I went to court genre, this time a romantic comedy. I want to show you how to do better because there is a preconceived notion of 'actor from singer'. I want to show that an actor named 'Kim Myoung-su' is a friend who can do this genre . I hope you have a lot of expectations. 

- What's your plan again this year? 

▶ First of all , we have to work hard to make 'a single love '. I have to look at the end once I have a character. 

- It's been 9 years since I debuted. What else do you think you'll be doing in the next 10 years? 

▶ I think I'm doing both singers and actors. Life is more fun because it is a series of learning. It's like a staircase that makes me grow . I think I'm continuing to develop my skills so as not to disappoint those who like me.
