'Infinite' prepares for its '90s concert

The full lineup of singers from the 1990s who will appear in a special episode of popular TV show "Infinite Challenge" was released on Thursday.

The special episode entitled "Saturday Saturday is a Singer", or "Totoga" in Korean, was the idea of two of the show's hosts,Park Myeong-sooandJeong Joon-ha.

Because of the resurgence of '90s music, Park and Jeong suggested that other team members bring together all of the singers who were popular in the '90s and organize a concert at the end of the year.

According to MBC,Badaand Shoo (pictured above), two members of S.E.S., will reunite for the first time in 12 years since the girl group's last album.

S.E.S. was the country's first major girl group, ruling the music scene in the late '90s and early 2000s.

Eugene, the other member of the girl group, wanted to participate in the reality show but she couldn't because she is pregnant.

Other singers who will take the stage during the special episode are Turbo, Jinusean, Jo Sung-mo, Cool and Kim Hyun-jung, who were favorites of many music fans in the 90s.

MBC said it is in the process of contacting other musicians.

Meanwhile, viewers have high expectations for the special episode. "Infinite Challenge" said 75,000 people have applied to get tickets for the special show.

The episode will be recorded on Dec. 18 at Ilsan MBC studio and the dress code is fashion of the '90s, such as flared pants and bandanas.

Airing on MBC every Saturday afternoon, "Infinite Challenge" is a long-running TV show that has a large fan base.
