The reason why “I Am A Singer” is so popular is because people can listen to “singing.”

All of a sudden, the music industry has completely changed to satisfaction of the eyes rather than the ears. This is how popular the idols that value looks and performances are and how much they have taken over the industry.

Competitiveness also exists between the idols themselves, since removing of the MR shows their vocal skills as in if they are capable of singing live or not. If they are found lip syncing, they receive a lot of criticisms from the netizens.

Also, the “who is the best singer amongst idols” can’t be avoided. Each idol group needs at least one member who is acknowledged as a good singer so that they can survive in the industry.

One media outlet company surveyed 10 vocal trainers on which idol groups can sing. 2AM got first and Big Bang was second. Kara and After School got last place and second to last, respectively.

The member with best vocals was chosen as JYJ’s Junsu. Second place was SNSD’s Taeyeon, who showed her vocals with various OSTs. Also in second was Sistar’s Hyorin.

The worst singers were Wonder Girls’ Sohee and Kara’s Hara. They were chosen as the member that is in charge of the looks in their respective groups.
