Jackson (GOT7) pauses activities for health reasons

JYP Entertainment has let fans know that GOT7’s will be taking a break from promotions for health reasons.

On April 7, the agency shared a statement in which they explained that Jackson will not be able to take part in the group’s planned activities for April 7 and 8.

Those activities include a fan signing event on April 7, a lying-down broadcast on V Live titled “GOT7 x LiEV” on April 7, and a fan signing event on April 8. Accordingly, male idols will halt their activities, including personal work schedules as well as group activities. Jackson will not be promoting with GOT7 in the near future, instead the team will work with a team of 6 people.

“It has been determined that the artist requires rest in order for the recovery of his health, and so it was decided that he will not be taking part,” JYP Entertainment wrote. “As we delivery this sudden news of his inability to participate, we ask for the understanding of the fans who have been looking forward to the activities.”

The agency added that they will share updates if there are further changes to his schedule in the future, and ensured fans they will do their best for his recovery.
