Jang Dong Min holds a press conference in regards to his recent controversies

Popular comedian groupOngdalssem(Jang Dong Min,Yoo Se Yoon,Yoo Sang Moo) held a press conference on April 28 in regards to the recent controversies they've faced due to past comments made on their podcast, 'Ongdalssem's Dreaming Radio.'

Comedian Jang Dong Min has been in a bit of a rut as he was first put on blast for hispast derogatory comments against women. Shortly after his voluntary drop from 'Infinity Challenge's sixth man search, the comedian confronts additional adversity in his career as he nowfaces a lawsuit from the last survivor of the Sampoong Department Store in 1995for a comment that he had made in the same podcast featuring members of Ongdalssem.

In regards to his past comments, Jang Dong Min sent his earnest apologies at the press conference as he said, "I am so sorry. I don't have anything to say. I wanted to be more closer to the listeners and bring laughter to more people. Since we were only thinking about how to make people laugh, the things we said became more aggressive. We started to use more violent words. We didn't think about the people who would be hurt from the laughter and only held complacent thoughts. I want to apologize for my careless actions."

"I also want to apologize for the families and the person who has been hurt because of our lack of care with our words. I promise that this will not happen again for the rest of my life. It's not something that I can take back, but I will carefully give back the love that people have given me. Always with a regretful heart, I will work hard to live fully. I apologize once again."

In regards to himmaking a recent visit to the lawyer's officeof the accuser, Jang Dong Min explained that he just wanted to apologize for his words and had no intentions of asking for a withdrawal of the lawsuit.

He said, "I couldn't get in contact with the accuser's lawyer, so we weren't able to meet. Of course, I didn't have any intentions of asking her to withdraw the lawsuit. I just wanted to send my apologies. For those who are asking if I'm getting questioned by the police, the answer is yes. I will faithfully participate in the police investigations."

The comedian also revealed that he is ready to take on all punishments that he is given through this controversy, whether or not it be that he is dropped from all programs and shows that he is currently appearing in.

He said, "I had so many thoughts about the shows that I'm in, but there are already a lot of filming that we had done so far. In regards to that, it is a discourtesy to say whether we want to be dropped or not. We don't have any say in the decision of whether or not we will get dropped."

"We will leave that decision to the producers and the broadcasting companies and follow their decisions whatever it may be. If they give us the opportunity [to continue on the show] we will faithfully do so, but if not, we will also accept [their decision]."

Meanwhile, Jang Dong Min has already dropped out of his daily radio program, 'Jang Dong Min and Lady Jane's 2 O'Clock,' following his most recent controversy where he faced a lawsuit.
