Jang Seo-hee's comeback drama, 'Mom' holds first script reading session

On August 12th, MBC's new weekend drama,"Mom"had their first script reading session, which was open to the press.

"Mom"depicts a gratifying avenging battle by a mom, Yoon Jeong-ae against her children, who regard her as a burden, while mom has been yielding everything for her children for her entire life.

Main actors includingCha Hwa-yeon,Jang Seo-hee,Park Yeong-gyoo,Kim Suk-hoon,Hong Soo-hyeon, 'Dohee' as well as writerKim Jeong-sooand producerOh Kyeong-hoongathered together in the script reading room at MBC Dream Center in Goyang-shi, Gyeonggi-do.

ProducerOh Kyeong-hoonsaid, "My Heart Beatsfast to see all of you at one spot, who are going to lead the drama together" and "I've done 'My Beloved Sister' with writerKim Jeong-sooin 2006. I'd like to produce a fun and meaningful drama. We've tried to cast the best runner from each field. Thank you for joining us".

WriterKim Jeong-soogreeted shyly, "I've been working with MBC for a long time since MBC in Jeongdong. I'll work hard. Please help me".

Park Seongsoo, chief manager of MBC's drama department also attended the event to support. He said, "Thank you for joining"Mom". It is really a good script. I believe each cast matches the character very well. We'll work together for the next six months. I hope all of you stay healthy and have fun filming. The morst important thing is your safety and your happiness, please take care of your body and mind".

As soon as the script reading session started, all of the actors immersed themselves into each one's character immediately.Cha Hwa-yeonwas all about her character, mom Yoon Jeong-ae. Her voice, body gestures and eyes were dissolved into her character naturally.Jang Seo-heebrought her role, oldest daughter,Kim Yoon-heeto life perfectly.

All the actors presented perfect acting to match their reputable names.

"Mom"will begin in September after completion of"Make a Woman Cry".
