Jeon Ji-hyeon, 'Baby+Career'... catching both birds

ActressJeon Ji-hyeonis in the spotlight because she had two great news in a row. Not only is she pregnant after 3 years of marriage but also the movie,"The Assassination", she stars in and directed byChoi Dong-hoonis expected to hit it big in the box office.

Jeon Ji-hyeon, who has been the subject of gossip because of the bodyguards she brought to an interview recently, made her pregnancy public through her agency. She showed off her professionalism by actively promoting her movie even though she is in the early stages of her pregnancy.  

Her agency, 'Culture Depot', says "Jeon Ji-hyeonis now 10 weeks into her pregnancy. She wished to have a child this year and is happy that it came true" and "Since she is now promoting her movie, we have been careful about releasing this information in the fear that it may overshadow the movie. At the moment, most of her duties towards the promotion of the movie is completed. Once everything is settled, she is expected to concentrate on the baby".

As if her efforts paid off,"The Assassination"has sold a million tickets in just 2 days of the release and is expected to be a big block buster hit. According to the Korean movie counsel's database on the 24th, the movie sold 435,056 tickets on the 23rdalone and the total figures were 927,017 tickets sold.

The internet responded to the news of the pregnancy with comments including "Congratulations", "Have a healthy and cute baby", and "Take care of yourself".
