[ASKKPOP] Ji Chang Wook shares his thoughts on enlistment + Park Min Young reveals her thoughts on transforming into a reporter

On December 4, the press conference for the upcomingKBSdrama, 'Healer' was held and actorJi Chang Wookdisclosed his thoughts on his possible enlistment whilePark Min Youngrevealed her thoughts on transforming into a reporter.

During the press conference, Ji Chang Wook and Park Min Young were seen praising each other, showing exceptional chemistry between the lead characters.

Ji Chang Wook said, "Park Min Young is really pretty. I think she matches the character that she plays very well. She makes the role very lovable and cute."

Park Min Young reciprocated the sentiments and stated, "I was able to easily get into my character because Ji Chang Wook was throwing himself around and working really hard. And because he is so naturally good looking with a deep gaze, it made it easier for me to get into character just by looking at him."

Then, when the topic of enlisting came up, Ji Chang Wook revealed that he is possibly thinking of enlisting in the upcoming new year. He stated,"BeforeYoo Seung Hoenlisted, we would greet each other but he's already discharged now. For me, it's 'already,' but for Yoo Seung Ho, he probably had a meaningful experience in the military. I think he will also do very well from now on, and his safe discharge is something to congratulate."

Ji Chang Wook added, "I will probably be going around in the coming year. I think I will enjoy it. I like to work out so I think I will be working out a lot in the military and enjoy the military lifestyle."

As for Park Min Young, she revealed that she enjoyed her time filming as a reporter as it opened her eyes to a completely new perspective, especially when it came to reporting celebrity news.

She said, "There were a lot of things that I learned about while playing the role of a reporter. I was faced with the reality of having to putting my life on the line to get hit [stories]. I realized that there are measures to take in order to persevere within the numerous media outlets. There's numerous deaths that occur from overworking."

Park Min Young added, "When I see it from an actress point of view I'd think, 'Do they have to take it to that extent with relationship rumors?' But when I thought about it from a reporter's point of view, I was able to better understand where they're coming from."

Meanwhile, Park Min Young takes on the role of Che Young Shin, an online media reporter, while Ji Chang Wook plays the role of Seo Jung Hoo, a determined messenger boy who takes on difficult tasks into his own hands. The romantic-mystery drama, 'Healer,' will be airing it's first episode on December 8.
