Jo Hye Ryun tears up after listening to her son's true feelings for the first time

On the June 29th broadcast ofMBC's'Quiz to Change the World', Jo Hye Ryun was joined by her son,Woo Joo. During the 'family special',Jo Hye Ryun, who recently went through a difficultdivorce, revealed how much she worries for her son whokeeps putting up with a hairstyle that covers one of his eyes and keeps wearing the same clothes for months at a time without washing it.

Jo Hye Ryun asked her son,"Why do you put up with a hairstyle that covers one of your eyes?",to which Woo Joo replied,"I have a scar on my face so I decided to cover one of my eyes. In the school that I transferred to, I wanted to impress my classmates so I thought it was a cool hairstyle. But my face became awkward and it became a complex."

Jo Hye Ryun kept asking in concern,"Are you going to keep on donning that hairstyle? I worry that your eyesight will deteriorate. Also, you have been wearing the jumper that you're wearing right now everyday since this past March. Why?"

Woo Joo explained,"I heard that wearing black clothing hides imperfections. That is why I wore this but I've grown to like it. I'm so hot but it's better than looking weird...This is my complex so I want to cover it. I have a scar on my face and hands. That is why I cover it with my hairstyle and wear long-sleeved clothing."

The comedian revealed,"I've bought new clothes for him, but he doesn't even take off the price tags and it remains untouched in the closet."When the MCs asked Woo Joo,"How come you don't share your feelings with your mom?"Woo Joo replied,"I can handle it on my own and I didn't want to see others get hurt",bringing Jo Hye Ryun to tears.
