Jung Joon-young to appear in 'The Lover'

SingerJung Joon-young(pictured, left) has landed a second acting role in the upcoming musical drama series"The Lover".

Mnet, a cable TV channel, said Wednesday that Jung andTerada Takuya, a regular guest on the popular talk show "Non-Summit" and a member of the boy band Cross Gene, will join the 12-episode drama series.

The program, which will begin airing sometime in April, centers on the love stories of four cohabiting couples.

Jung, a participant on the fourth season of the audition show "Super Star K", will pair up with actressChoi Yeo-jin(pictured, right). The drama series will be directed by producerKim Tae-eun-III, who took the helm of several seasons of "Super Star K".

"This drama differentiates itself from others because no one is perfect in this drama. And viewers can relate to these eight different characters", Kim said in a press release.
